Jazzinsieme at ClubKristalia

Jazzinsieme, one of the most important jazz festivals in the Friuli region, kicked off the autumn season at ClubKristalia with a cultural event dedicated to Miles Davis and his ever-evolving music.

Enrico Merlin opened the show with ‘Miles Davis: A Genius Always on the Move,’ a captivating analysis of Miles Davis’s constant innovation, from his early days to his latest works, told by one of the leading experts in the field through anecdotes and guided listening sessions.

The evening continued with performances by Gianluca Mosole, Paolo Carletto, Rob Daz, and Nicholas Kochs, who, with their project ‘OverMiles,’ took the audience on a fascinating sonic journey from the 1980s to the present day. A performance driven by an intriguing question: How would Miles Davis’s sound have evolved if he were still active today?

Jazzinsieme Factory

We have always enjoyed living in the present, embracing innovation and change. Lateral thinking and freedom of approach have often allowed us to be original and recognizable in the eyes of others. Precisely because we see this as part of our calling, a few months ago we joined a new project that is helping us to look inward and find fresh inspiration. This journey, created by Jazzinsieme Factory, combines engaging training sessions with the organization of cultural events open to the public. A unique opportunity to forge new connections and generate new ideas.
